Venombullet666 This EP has so much depth to it and the quieter parts are beautiful whilst the not-so-quiet parts are Mammoth, the production for this release is so good too, every instrument can be heard crystal clear, The vocals really shine and some nice effects are used to great effect, This EP absolutely crushes !

Check it out and turn it up! Favorite track: Enlightenment.

Harry Harrison Once again Trippy and the gang have come up with some sonic pleasure worthy of anyone’s collection. Deep rumbling bass drives melodic guitars one minute and the next……….well; think ‘Wall-o-Sound’. Once more these guys pull it from the bag to produce another brilliant Stoner Rock album from left field. Different yet familiar. These guys should be bigger than they are. Favorite track: Enlightenment.

Lots-O-HugginBear With this EP Trippy Wicked add a lot of new facets to their sound and thus manage to stay ahead of the other stoner bands these days.

We get prepared We wanna survive We see our future To the sky You see the ones Think about themselves Who leave the Earth Rot in Hell Gotta let it go Gotta let it go Gotta let it go World slows down Sun’s burnt out To the sky We will fly We burrow down Artificial glow Synthetic substance Far from home We need to feel Warmth from the core We’re digging deeper Than before Can’t let it go Can’t let it go Can’t let it go World slows down Sun’s burnt out In the ground We will go World slows down Sun’s burnt out To the sky We will fly World slows down Sun’s burnt out In the ground We will go Down down, round and round We’re lost until we’re found

And so you came for what you need Well I guess I need it too And you say it’s not a game Well I wanna play with you I find it hard to believe in you today I find it hard to be leaving you today You say we’ve got to get away Cos our world is nearly through I can’t give it all away Cos I wanna be with you I find it hard believe in you today I find it hard to be leaving you this way I’m giving up On giving up You make it harder I’m getting harder I find it hard to believe in you today I find it hard to be leaving you today I find it hard to believe you anyway I find it hard to be leaving you this way

They could not see Failure in sight Did what they had to So they could survive Into new kingdoms Crystals and gold Carry no meaning When fighting the cold Their mission To find a place they could hive In a glisten A drop to help sustain life They must listen And hear without using eyes An incision To help in comforting minds We had come undone We had lost the sun Now a battle won We can live as one We had come undone We had lost the sun With the battle won We can live as one Their mission To find a world beyond stars The decision Suspension as it was far Confusion They did not know of the scars Arisen Return of the sun god Ra We had come undone We had lost the sun Now a battle won We can live as one We can live as one

about

"Underground strikes as the most complex and accomplished outing Trippy Wicked have crafted yet, and feels more complete as a whole work than its EP tag can properly convey." - The Obelisk

"Awesome is surely the only word for ‘underground’, prepare to worship at the altar of Trippy Wicked if you don’t already, for this is one hell of an EP from a very special band indeed." - Sonic Abuse

"This is a three-piece who live and breathe the underground air and upon listen after listen of their latest EP, you simply must wonder how long they’ll continue to remain under the rock radar." - The Sleeping Shaman

"Trippy Wicked just keep getting better with every release and although this EP sees a much sludgier twist to their sound, this is still very much Trippy Wicked through and through." - Heavy Planet

"Underground marks the evolution of the band towards much more metal and epic adventures. This isn’t a miracle, it’s a perfect achievement." - The Heavy Chronicles
